Jacqueline Van Otten
Thursday, August 25, 2005 - Jacqueline Dee Van Otten of Fort Bragg died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 at Mendocino Coast District Hospital after a short illness. Born on Aug. 16, 1959 in San Diego, Calif., to Jack Francis and Patricia Evans Farley, she was 46.
Jackie lived most of her life in Fort Bragg. She worked in the medical field as a certified nurse assistant and most recently as caregiver for Eva Andersson. She loved reading Danielle Steele books, watching sunsets and especially loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids. Her proudest memories were watching the births of her three grandchildren. On July 11, 2005 she was able to watch her daughter get married.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband B. J. Jones. She is survived by her first husband, John Cruttenden; son, Jason Cruttenden and his girlfriend Lynn Williams, daughter, Michelle and son-in-law Jaimie Uribe, daughter Melissa and son-in-law Kenneth Blackshear, all of Fort Bragg; sister Sheri and brother-in-law Woodie Speaks of Kelseyville, Calif., brother Brian and sister-in-law Emily Wilson of Ukiah, brother Robert Evans and sister-in-law Kathy of El Paso, Texas, brother Larry and sister-in-law Cheryl Wilson; longtime friends Candia Souza and Donna Smith. She is also survived by her special friend Bethani Wagner and son Daniel Clark, three grandchildren, Audriana, Kyra and Diego; sister Marie and Dennis Cox, stepfather Gerald Farley, current husband, Victor Van Otten and numerous friends and family.
She is loved and missed by her family. Rest in peace."
